December the 7th contemporary art gallery RuArts became the hottest spot on the Moscow art map. RuArts celebrated its 12th birthday together with the opening of a new exhibition and Ruinart became the main partner of the event. Moscow art lovers and critics gathered to congratulate the gallery and to see works of eight South Korean artists. Each artist represented one of the key contemporary art trends of South Korea. All art pieces of the “Identity” exhibition were brought to Russia for the first time.
Over the last decades South Korean art became popular not only in Asia but far beyond. Korean artists nowadays make part of the most important art biennales, fairs, top museums and art galleries worldwide. Russian art curators also show growing interest towards South Korea.
